Carlos moved to the United States from his native land of Puerto Rico in 2004 after receiving an athletic scholarship to Ohio State University. Looking to pursue a career in the canine behavior/ training field, he attended the Tom Rose School graduating with his Master Dog Trainer Certification.
After graduating, Carlos worked with several of the leaders in the canine industry. He served as the director of canine operations for a private contractor where he gained experience managing military and government contracts such as TSA, Border Patrol, NSA, Department of Defense, etc.
Currently Carlos is the founder and training director at CRK9 out of Ocala, FL. There he provides training for law enforcement agencies, conventional military units and Tier 1 personnel in the US.
BITE WORK CONDITIONING / TROUBLESHOOTING
During todays day and age, where every word we say, and every action we take are scrutinized, having clear and effective communication during deployments with your dog is a necessity. During this course you will learn how to condition dogs to cues and signals for better communication during deployments. You will also learn trouble shooting techniques for bite work issues using different techniques and training methodologies.
