WORKING K9's WITH GUNFIRE
Working K9’s with Gun Fire is a 1 day course designed to improve the K9s control, focus and commitment during during gunfire while minimizing K9 conflict. Ask any good K9 handler what they want most from their partners and many give the same answer: CONTROL. Not just control during every day tasks or in a field doing obedience, but control while in drive. Control when it counts—when the bullets are flying. Unfortunately, a lot of dogs lack control, have low levels of focus and a lack of commitment to basic commands when conducting gunfire. Many canines will show aggression towards gunfire and refuse to stay in a down, heel or any other position you have commanded of the dog. This course will break down all the elements needed to give the handlers the skills needed for continued progress in gunfire neutralization and control while the dog is in drive. Each class will have a maximum of 7 K9 teams to ensure each K9 gets maximum training time and repetitions.
