The American Tactical K9 Association, provides training, educational programming, and assistance to the military and law enforcement communities in police/ military K9 procedures, operations, and tactics.
The educational programs and training offered are specifically designed to enhance the performance and professional status of law enforcement and military personnel by providing a credible and proven training resource as well as a forum for the development of tactics and information exchange between the professional law enforcement and military community.
The American Tactical K9 Association solicits donations and contributions donated by businesses and individuals to offset the cost of training and educational programs which are scheduled on a regular basis.
The board members have years of both Military and Law Enforcement K9 experience. This includes handling K9's in the harshest conditions while deployed in combat and on the streets here at home. We are comprised of handlers and trainers that have served at the most elite levels including Special Operations and SWAT.
Our Association was founded to provide K9 teams with realistic training which will increase both the handler's and K9's survivability. Most handlers don't have the opportunity to conduct advanced training due to budgetary constraints. We recognize the way handlers become more proficient is through exposure to multiple training methodologies. There weren't any options for handlers to seek world class training at an affordable rate. We sought to meet that demand in order to educate our handlers and keep them and their partners safe.
Donate and support those who defend us in times of crisis. Your tax deductible monetary support to the American Tactical K9 Association will provide our nation's K9 handlers the opportunity to receive life-saving training. Donors can deduct contributions under IRC section 170 501 (c) (3).
