The American Tactical K9 Association is proud to be hosting its sixth annual K9 Conference at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, Indiana, 5-9 October 2026. We have become the world's largest hands-on K9 training event. The Conference will offer training from some of the industry's best trainers, consisting of four training days and a vendor day to showcase cutting-edge equipment. Some of the equipment will be utilized during the training to provide you with "hands-on" experience.
This conference is for handlers who want to train and gain skillsets that will help them perform their duties and make them more professional handlers. If you want to sit around and listen to lectures, this isn't the conference for you! Expect to work hard and learn from trainers, handlers, and instructors who have extensive real-world experience operating at the most elite levels. 2026 BEST K9 TEAM COMPETITION
Test your skills and endurance by competing against fellow K9 teams in the ATK9 Best Team Competition. This grueling event is physically demanding and will require you and your K9 partner to demonstrate your K9 abilities. Be prepared to run, shoot, negotiate obstacles, detect odors, apprehend suspects, and conduct other mission essential skills as you work your way to the finish line. There are only 15 slots! Competitors will be selected by lottery on Tuesday morning. Tickets are $25. Prizes will be awarded to the top-placed competitors.
