Mark Kelley is the president/owner of "Kelley Defense" and co-host of "On The Range Podcast". Mark is a US Army Combat Veteran and 29-year major city law enforcement officer. He has taken his combat, SWAT, federal task force, dignitary protection, and instructor experience to create Kelley Defense.
Kelley Defense provides mobile firearms and tactical training to law abiding civilians, military, and law enforcement personnel. Kelley Defense has the goal to provide a serious training experience for all skill levels, using proven real world training methods and techniques.
ONE HANDED PISTOL SHOOTING FOR THE K9 OFFICER
The War HOGG Tactical One Handed Pistol Shooting training is a 1 day course designed for all K9 handers that will lay the foundation for making them more efficient and effective firing their service weapon one handed. The course also provides the handler with the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship, including strong hand only shooting based on proven combat experience.
This course will build a solid foundation on the following topics:
-Safey
-Pistol manipulation
-Fundamentals of pistol marksmanship
-Combat mindset
-Drawing the pistol
-Strong hand pistol shooting
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:
-Pistol
-Gun belt and duty holster
-Normal duty equipment
-400 rounds
-3 or more magazines
-Magazine pouches that will retain magazines when moving
-Weapon lube and maintenance tools
-Eye/ Ear protection (electronic preferred)
-Ball Cap (recommended)
-Clothing must be able to perform durning strenuous activity.
-Old T-shirt that will be used as a target
